Well, I am finally up and running. This place will hopefully be a place for me to put a few of my thoughts down on issues wide and far. I expect politics, economics and investing will dominate, but I have no idea.
For those who don't know me I am of a libertarian bent. I belong to no party. I am not interested in being a partisan or being held to any particular line, even by libertarians. I don't expect a lot of traffic, but if any shows up please don't come looking for someone to show how clever he is with insults, or say things like "the left thinks" or "right wing bloggers always" or other broad brush attacks on other groups. Plenty of that around, I even find such crowd-pleasing ridicule fun at times. It just isn't what I am doing here. I look forward to discussing things; I hope I have enough to say to keep the blog worth visiting from time to time.
